Getting HereUse Transinfo (selecting Railway terrace as your destination) to help make planing your journey to the dojo a breeze, its well connected by rail and bus networks...or you can drive or catch a Ferry from University of Queensland, St. Lucia Campus. Whereis.com.au can provide you with maps and driving directions.Drive - Street parking is plentiful. If your coming from the local area use either Ipswich Rd or Fairfield Rd. If your coming from the motorway take the Cornwall St. Juliette St. or Stanley St. exits and head for the river. Train - Dutton park rail station is 2min away , servicing the Cleveland and Beenleigh lines, just a few stops from Brisbane Central Station Bus - With nearby Fairfield Rd, West End and Annerly the following bus routes and probably others are available for travel out of the city and into Dutton park from surrounds suburbs including carindale, Yeronga, Rocklea. The SE busway, (South Bank or Mater Hill stops) has bus every 60seconds in peak periods getting you into town or servicing the southern suburbs directly, Walk We are just across the river from the city centre (20mins), QUT (5mins) accessable from the goodwill bridge at the Southern end of the river or the captain cook bridge near the performing arts centre ot as well. Commercial off-street parking is plentiful, and the university does offer some free parking to aikido students (enquire at class for details) Ferry - Take the Dutton Park from the University of Queensland, St. Lucia Campus. Check the timetable though as it may not be running at the end of class - though someone from the dojo can probably get you a lift home |
